THE MOTIVATION for getting into any business is money. The only common aspect of every business is money. That's what business is all about.Money allows financial independence. With substantial personal income you will no longer need to be dependent upon a job or a boss or a career just to live.
With enough money you can do with your time as you please. It simply isn't true that you must work twelve hours a day to become rich. It's possible to do little, if any real "work" and still be financially free. If you are in the right business.
Having all the money you need allows you to do what you want to do and really enjoy life. Working for someone else, or even having a demanding business, doesn't allow you the freedom to spend your time as you choose to, travel, if you care to and to develop your talents and interests. That's impossible when you work for someone else or if you're in a business which just doesn't allow it.
Money itself may not make you happy, but if you have enough of it you can live where you want to live, in the house you want to have, drive the car you want, contribute to the causes you want to support and have the comforts which do make life enjoyable.
You might think that these observations about money are so obvious, but many people overlook the fact that money is what business is all about. Business is not about having stores, lots of employees, working long hours, getting ulcers, keeping mountains of books, advertising, finding suppliers and customers and trying to make it all fit together. That is NOT what having your own business is about.
It is about money, freedom and happiness!
